Synopsis :

The Who’s Tommy, Pete Townshend’s tale of a young boy’s journey from pain to triumph, is one of the most electrifying rock-and-roll events in musical theater history! Tony-award-winning director, Des McAnuff, translated The Who’s classic '60s rock opera to the stage creating a high-energy, one-of-a-kind piece of musical theater. After witnessing the accidental murder of his mother's lover by his father, little Tommy Walker is traumatized into catatonia and as the boy grows, he suffers abuse at the hands of his sadistic relatives and neighbors. As an adolescent, he’s discovered to have an uncanny knack for playing pinball, and when his mother finally breaks through his catatonia, he becomes an international pinball superstar. The exhilarating score is timeless in its youthful appeal, giving the show a cross-generational appeal that has made it a smash-hit worldwide.

As much as she loves theater, her true passion is her music and she wishes to send out “mad props” to her band (Mocking Audri) and her fans. She would also like to thank her mommy, her pet hamsters Killroy and Grim, Trevor, Katie, Benjo, Olaf and Spud. A very special thanks to all the cast and crew(even the smelly ones) for being the people they are and for making the academy the wonderful place that it is. “I love you guys. Thanks for making high school worth enduring.” [top]
