Synopsis
:
What happens when individuals take their convictions too far? Antigone, as performed by students at Culver City High School's Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (AVPA), takes a hard look at the role of individuals within society, a look that questions the very nature of that society. AVPA's adaptation of the classic Greek tragedy, based on a version by Bertolt Brecht, will be performed for four nights only, Wednesday through Saturday, May 24-27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sony Pictures Theatre behind the Robert Frost Auditorium (4401 Elenda) in Culver City. Two additional performances will be held Friday and Saturday at 9:00 p.m.
